Civil War

📷Real warfare

A dystopian (near) future where a civil war explodes in the US.

We follow a group of journalists ( interviewers and photographers) in their dangerous trip to the white house.

Two words for describe this movie:

Real and cruel

It's simple and terrifyingly possible, it shows how easy it is to find the worst in people and how easily they can become killers.

We get into a serious moral dilemma from the start. Our protagonist (Kirsten Dunst) Is a war photographer who's trying to get as close to the danger as possible to get a good picture. In doing so she witnesses horrible crimes and does nothing to prevent them or to help.

That's hard to process for the vast majority of people (me included), therefore leads to a weird disliking of the character.

Most of the scenes are filled with emotions and the cast is always able to act them out perfectly.

I was honestly stunned by Wagner Moura's performance, really amazing.💯

It's a must watch for every war-movie enthusiast and for everyone interested in deep dramas.

Kinda sad that the marketing for this one was almost nonexistent, it would've done a lot better with some ads thrown around.

How Would I Fix It ?

  • The only thing that bothered me was the sound level in the shootout scenes, it drill a hole into my ears after a while.😂
