Ferrari

🏎️Drama with some cars

It presents itself as a hybrid between races and Enzo's life.

We change in a heartbeat to follow all the drama regarding his "mid to late" life crisis.

And that's a good thing.

We have a spectacular performance by Penelope Cruz.💯

A cold and really stoic Adam Driver.

The movie exposes the hard parts of Enzo's life in directing the company, following the races and juggling his personal life.

Micheal Mann does a good job especially considering that he's 80 years old.😬

Every character feels real and complicated and that makes us as the audience see that there's no one to really root for, no bad guy to hate and no righteous cause to redeem our protagonist.

This is a change of paste in the director's usual style.

I recommend it to anyone looking for a "real" and crude life story.

How Would I Fix It ?

  • it's honestly presented to the point that every adjustment to it might damage the integrity of the story.

  • I would take better shots and sequences in the race department, especially considering that Mann is the man (pun intended) behind Ford v Ferrari.
