Gunn's style brought the Guardians from a B series comic to a central (well deserved) part in the MCU.His ability to properly set up a narrative with good emotional grip and sprinkle it with the right amount of humor, earned him a place in the "Olympus" of superhero movie directors.

Unfortunately for Marvel this was his last production under Disney's contract.

He's now the head of the DCEU.🦄

To put it bluntly he had no good reasons to deliver a nice product.

Fortunately for us, and going against my expectations, he did.😁

His whole team shares the merit of course, they created a really nice conclusion for the GOTG franchise. We have our "Parcs and Rec Lord" that leads the scenes with his unparalleled emotional and comic acting all enhanced by Karen Gillan and Zoe Saldana performance.Groot, Rocket, Drax and Mantis were nice.(Order not chose casually)

In this final chapter the centre of the story is Rocket, more specifically his "creation" by the hand of the High Evolutionary.

The movie works well bringing to the table a lot of heartwarming and some heartbreaking scenes.

It's probably the best movie about family Vin Diesel has ever acted in.🤣

Classical Marvel-villain problem

Starts with potential but falls flat pretty rapidly and fails to pose a real threat to the Guardians.

The same can be said for Adam Warlock. I understand the studio needed and introduction for his character but this one feels forced in at the last second.

I'm looking forward to Gunn's next productions and i think you should too. The guy knows what he's doing.
