Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1

Yes, it's everything you'd expect and even some more. 💯

The entire saga is characterized by the incredible grip it can create through high stakes situations. They're always able to emphasize in the right way the gravity of each mission and that glues you to the screen.

Extra points for being able to "close" a narrative arc even when the entire story is splitted between two movies. That's really hard to do, the only other franchise that was able to pull it off was Marvel with the infinity war / endgame.

I'm not saying that MI7 and infinity war are similar, but they have one or two things in common like: a nicely presented villain.

In this one we get a smart, capable and always one step ahead Esai Morales. I really hope that he keeps these qualities even in the second part.

Stellar cast, accompanies Tom in various amazing cities like Rome and Venice 🇮🇹 and we get to watch him run almost everywhere like a speedster, (i would love to know his 100m record, cause i bet he demolishes me 🤣)

He is in stellar shape despite his 61 years of age.

As we all saw from the trailers, the stunts in this one are amazing and amazingly risky to perform so, respect for Tom.💪

2 hours and 43 minutes might seem like a lot, but believe me when i tell you, it's not enough.😁

Really looking forward to part 2.

How Would I Fix It ?

• Hard to judge a part 1, so i would go for something like "hopes for the 2nd part" :

  - keep the villain as it is

  - don't drop the narrative quality too much in favor of extreme stunts

  - give us more of Tom running
