🎅Cringy Xmas
This reinvention of the classic Christmas story tells us about a bad kid that grew up to become a really bad adult who coincidentally is really talented at finding people.
He becomes the protagonist due to Santa's kidnapping and lack of leads by the world department led by Lucy Liu.
Chris Evans partners with The Rock to find him and as you can easily expect from the point they get together the cringiness of the movie ramps up to 100.
It's not awful by any metric, it's just a blockbuster wannabe that clearly missed the mark on every aspect except casting, thanks to the outrageous quarter of a billion dollar budget.
The plot feels a little too convenient and our super evil villain it's plain stupid and boring.
It's a shame because the idea was almost there and it just needed some more care to get a decent level antagonist.
Dialogues are by far the worst part of it, I would easily compare it to Jumanji: The Next Level.
All and all I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone in particular, however it's pretty light if you just want to spend a quiet evening at the movies.
How Would I Fix It ?
Villain, villain, villain... The easiest and biggest improvement for this story is a properly presented villain who can actually pose a threat to our heroes.
