The Day Of The Jackal
😎Proper villain
As you might've guessed by now, I have a soft spot for antiheroes/villains as protagonists. Especially when they're written carefully and with a specific goal in mind.
Eddie Redmane's Jackal is a masterclass in this craft.
Super captivating, capable, smart, careful and resourceful killer. In the game only for the money.
All his skills are tested when, after killing a high profile individual, MI6 starts tracking him down.
That's the whole premise for the show, plain and simple cat and mouse, with a smart cat and a smart mouse.
All of this good stuff is wrapped in Sky Atlantic production, meaning, slow paste, cool cinematic shots and obviously great casting.
I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good thriller.
How Would I Fix It ?
As you might've already guessed, it's already pretty good
