The Flash

This movie is comparable to a well cooked shrimp, it might take 60 long, boring and insufferable minutes to get to the pulp.🦐

Let's keep on going with the crustacean analogy.

The shell is entirely composed by Ezra Miller 🤣 and unfortunately (as you can see from the trailer) there are two of them together in this movie. It's as bad as you can imagine and probably even more.

Thank God that after this excruciatingly boring and unbearable first act we get to see Micheal Keaton 💯 (in this case he is the major component of the pulp). Great actor by all standards and brings instantly more life to the movie.

Extra points for Batman action scenes, really well made by what I can only assume is a good mix of CGI and stuntman work. It's really fun to watch the bat move and act with real flow to his actions, something that, due to the technological limitations of the og movie, was impossible at the time.🦇

Alongside Keaton we have Supergirl.

I wasn't expecting much from her but I have to admit that Sasha Calle was the right fit for the role. Nothing bad to say about her or Supergirl.🦸🏻

The Flash's superspeed scenes in the first part are uninteresting and kinda weird to watch, however, in the second part they jump in quality and excitement. I can't shake off the feeling that someone told the director "try to do one like quicksilver in the X-Men" fortunately for us, he listened. 🤣

In the CGI department I think everyone noticed that there were problems between the transition from real to CGI characters... I don't think something like that is excusable in a 220 million dollars movie.🙃

All considered i think this movie deserves some praise, especially considering that the mum and dad and time travel stuff after a while start to grip you emotionally, and we can't help but feel bad for our poor protagonist.😢

Last positive note:

From this point on James Gunn is directing the DCEU.👍

How Would I Fix It ?

• I really think that an easy fix to this movie would be to recast Ezra Miller... But we all know that is too late for that. So let's take it from a different perspective: instead of fixing the problem, how about we just try to do some damage control?

  I mean we can rewrite some of his dialogues and make him stick to the script. That would be a good start.📝

• Another stupidly easy fix is the CGI scenes, we all know the guys at DC are capable of delivering great results, just let them work a little more on their scenes and I'm sure they can improve them in no time.🧑‍🔧
