The Kill Room
🤥poor execution
Considering the unbelievably good cast and a serious lack of marketing, I was perplexed about this one.
It was almost like they knew they've messed up and didn't want anybody to notice.😅
First of all let's acknowledge the great chemistry between Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson, every conversation they had was believable and we'll interpreted.💯
I consider this one a case of "potentially good idea", in the sense that the foundations for an interesting picture were there but they were buried deep by a bunch of stupid stuff.😫
It felt the opposite of Boy Kills World, the director and screenwriters really didn't care much about it.
Which is a shame especially considering the talent they had at their disposal.
After a certain point the plot becomes so convenient that it's almost hard to watch and process all the new changes in the characters and in the story.
I wouldn't really recommend it...
Sorry if I'm harsh but it felt just like a waste of time.😐
How Would I Fix It ?
We need to establish our villain/obstacle as something actually hard to overcome and keep the characters focused on the problem for more than 5 minutes.
Might also be a good idea to tone down some ridiculously over the top exaggerations regarding the people working in the art industry. Might help make it a little more believable.
