Twisters

Let's keep in mind that this is a remake from the original (Twisters-1996) so it's hard to give it points for originality.😂

Believe it or not, this movie about tornadoes is pretty slow in terms of paste, and it allows the audience to get a certain detachment from our main character.

Glen Powell is a pretty good actor, and right now is probably on the top of every cool list in Hollywood, so seeing him in this cowboy style role is really nice.

Unfortunately after some cool poses it starts to feel like a parody of himself.

Our protagonist Daisy Edgar-Jones is a talented meteorologist with a hunch for tornadoes, her character arc is pretty obvious right from the start and in turn the whole movie is easy to predict.

There aren't interesting twists or situations, it's all pretty boring and predictable.

Even the camera angles are mainstream at best...😅

So... Yeah... I would only recommend it to Glen Powell's fans and tornado people.

How Would I Fix It ?

• To get something actually good out of it, we need to create a more complex protagonist.

• Maybe using the tornadoes as a symbol of something more abstract could make it more interesting.
